Sorting, filtering, and searching photos

The album page gives you three ways to find specific photos: search by keyword, sort the grid in a different order, or filter down to just the photos you want to see. All three live above the photo grid on the album page.

Searching photos
Use the search bar to find photos by description, tag, moment, or filename. Results filter as you type β no need to press Enter.
Search matches against the AI-generated description, every tag on a photo, the moment a photo is assigned to, and the original filename. So a search for "bouquet" will surface photos with "bouquet" in the description or as a tag, and a search for a moment like "ceremony" will pull every photo tagged to that moment.
Sorting photos
Click Sort & Filter to open the panel. Photos sort by Filename AβZ by default. Other options:
Filename ZβA β reverse alphabetical
Favorites first β favorited photos at the top, everything else below
Moment (event order) β photos grouped by moment in the order events typically unfold (Getting Ready, First Look, Ceremony, and so on)
Moment (reverse order) β same grouping, reversed

Filtering photos
The same Sort & Filter panel has two filter sections.
Show
All images β the default view
Favorited only β hides everything except photos you've marked as favorites
Moment
A multi-select list of every moment available for this album's event type, plus a "Not Set" option for photos that haven't been assigned a moment yet. Each row shows the count of photos in that moment.
Pick as many moments as you want β the grid updates to show only photos matching your selection. Combine with Favorited only to narrow further.
To clear filters, deselect them in the panel.
Switching views
Three view toggles sit to the right of the Sort & Filter button:
Grid view (default) β thumbnail grid, optimized for visual browsing
List view β vertical list of thumbnails with each photo's metadata alongside (filename, tags, moment)
Multi-select β adds checkboxes for selecting multiple photos at once
For more on what you can do in multi-select mode, see Bulk actions on photos.
If something goes wrong
Search isn't returning a photo you know is in the album β the term you're searching for may not appear in any description, tag, moment, or filename. Try a broader search, or open the photo and add the term as a tag.
The Moment filter is missing options you expect β moments are scoped to the album's event type. If the album type is wrong, change it in Edit album details and the moment list will update.
