Reviewing and editing blog posts

The blog post editor is where you review and adjust the long-form recap Social Valet generated for an album before it publishes to WordPress. Each album generates one blog post.
Where to find blog posts to review
You can open a blog post from any of these places:
Posts page β filter by Blog and by Needs Approval status
Dashboard β recent posts and alerts
Calendar view β click any blog post on the calendar
Album page β alerts and the Needs Approval count in the sidebar
Opening a blog post from the Posts page lands you on the preview view first. From there, click Edit to open the editor.
The preview view
The preview shows the post the way it'll look when published β title, hero image, body, no editing affordances. The top bar shows the Needs Approval badge, a word count and read time (e.g., "7-minute read, 1268 words"), a Schedule Post button, and Reject, Edit, and Approve Post buttons.

The editor at a glance
Click Edit from the preview to open the full editor:
Left: Album Details β name, type, event date, venue, location, description, and your account info. Read-only here for context.
Center: The blog post itself β title, body, and inline images, all editable.
Right: Photos in this Album. Drag and drop from here into the body to add new images.
The top bar shows the post status, a Schedule Post button, and four actions: Cancel, Reject, Approve Post, and Save Post.

Editing the post
The body uses a block editor β each paragraph and image is its own block you can drag, edit, or delete. To add a new block, click the "+" icon that appears next to a block. Standard formatting (headings, lists, links, bold, italic) is available through the block editor.
The title sits above the body and edits inline.
Adding and removing photos
Drag a photo from the Photos in this Album panel on the right into the body to add it. The first image in the body acts as the post's featured image β there's no separate featured-image picker. To remove a photo, delete its block from the body. To add photos that aren't in this album, upload them to the album first.
Scheduling
Click Schedule Post in the top bar to set a publish date and time manually. If you don't, Social Valet auto-schedules the post when you approve it.
Save Post vs. Approve Post
These are different actions:
Save Post β persists your edits. The post stays in Needs Approval and won't publish.
Approve Post β moves the post to Approved status and queues it for publishing at the scheduled time (auto-scheduling kicks in if no time is set).
Reject β moves the post out of the queue. See Approving, rejecting, or rescheduling posts.
Approve Post saves any pending edits, so you don't need to click Save Post first.
If you cancel without saving
Clicking Cancel with unsaved edits opens a confirmation dialog before discarding. Closing the editor any other way works the same β your changes won't save unless you click Save Post or Approve Post.
If something goes wrong
A photo won't drag into the body. Refresh the page. If it still won't load, the photo may have been removed from the source album.
Save fails. Check your connection and try again. Copy your title and body text somewhere safe before refreshing.
WordPress isn't connected. You can still edit, save, and approve the post, but it won't publish until you reconnect. See Connecting your WordPress site.
The post failed to publish. See My WordPress post failed to publish.
