Compiling album details

The first step of creating an album is telling Social Valet about the event. Share details by typing, recording a voice note, or uploading files like timelines, vendor lists, or client emails β€” and Social Valet will use what you share to auto-fill the album. Prefer to enter everything yourself? You can skip straight to manual entry.

Before you start

Have one or more of these ready:

  • A few sentences describing the event

  • A timeline, shot list, vendor list, or client email (PDF, Word doc, image, or text file)

  • A voice memo with the event details

The more context you share, the more Social Valet can fill in for you β€” title, description, date, type, location, venue, tags, vendors (with Instagram handles), and subjects.

How to start a new album

  1. Go to the Albums page or click Create New Album from your dashboard.

  2. On the Create New Album screen, you'll land on Step 1: Upload album details.

Option A: Let Social Valet analyze the details

  1. Add your event details using any combination of:

    • Type in the text box

    • Click the microphone icon to record a voice note

    • Click the paperclip icon to upload one or more files (PDFs, Word docs, images, or text)

  2. Click Analyze Details in the top right.

  3. Social Valet will process what you shared and move you to Step 2: Confirm album details, where everything it extracted is pre-filled and ready for review.

You can mix and match β€” for example, upload a timeline PDF and type a few extra notes. Social Valet will combine all of it.

Option B: Add details manually

If you'd rather skip the analysis and fill in the album details yourself:

  1. Click Add Details Manually in the top right.

  2. You'll move directly to Step 2: Confirm album details with empty fields ready for you to fill in.

Notes

  • Supported file types for uploads: PDF, Word, image, and plain text files.

  • Voice notes are transcribed automatically before analysis.

  • You can always edit anything Social Valet pre-fills in the next step β€” nothing is locked in.

If something goes wrong

  • Analysis is taking a while β€” Larger files and multiple uploads take longer to process. Give it a moment before retrying.

  • Voice note didn't record β€” Make sure your browser has microphone permissions enabled for Social Valet.

  • Details look off after analysis β€” Anything Social Valet got wrong can be corrected on the next step. See Reviewing and editing album details.
