Managing your vendor list

The Vendors tab is your account-wide list of every vendor you've ever added β photographers, planners, florists, venues, anyone who's worked an event with you. Vendors here are global to your account, so adding one in any album also adds them here.

Adding a vendor
Go to Vendors in the top navigation.
Click New Vendor.
Fill in the vendor's details:
Name (required)
Role (required) β pick from the vendor category list
Email, Instagram handle, and Website (all optional, but recommended β they power vendor tagging in your captions and duplicate detection)
Click Save.
The new vendor is immediately available to link to any album.
Viewing or editing a vendor
Click any vendor in the list to open their detail modal. You'll see all their fields plus every album they're linked to.
To edit, update any field in the modal and save. Changes apply globally β every album linked to this vendor will reflect the new info going forward.

Searching, sorting, and filtering
The Vendors page has controls above the list to help you find what you need:
Search by name, email, or Instagram handle
Filter by role (multi-select)
Sort by name or by number of linked albums
Reviewing duplicates
If Social Valet detects potential duplicate vendors β based on matching names, emails, or Instagram handles β a Review duplicates button appears at the top of the Vendors page. Clicking it filters the list down to suspected duplicates so you can resolve them.
Merging vendors
When two records are the same vendor:
Select both vendors from the list.
Click Merge.
On the merge resolution screen, pick which value to keep for each field β the value from vendor A, vendor B, or a new value you type in.
Review the preview of the final merged record.
Click Confirm merge.
The surviving record inherits every album link from both originals. Merging is permanent and can't be undone.
Deleting a vendor
Open the vendor's detail modal.
Click Delete.
Confirm. You'll see a warning noting how many albums this vendor is linked to β deleting will remove them from all of those albums.
Deletion is only available from the Vendors tab. Removing a vendor from a single album just unlinks them; the record stays in your vendor list.
